Part two of two. In honor of the seven people who were killed on 12/26/2000 at Edgewater Technology in Wakefield, Massachusetts. I am reposting this two-part episode about that first aired on Dec 26 + Jan 6, 2020. They were some of my earliest episodes. The Edgewater workplace rampage remains the worst mass shooting in the state's history.

On 12/26/2000, Michael McDermott exacted his revenge on seven of his co-workers at Edgewater Technology. Perceived and twisted revenge. Equipped with a shotgun, a semi-automatic assault rifle, a semi-automatic pistol, and a bag full of ammunition, he had chatted with his workmates then unceremoniously opened fire. The attack that left all seven people dead lasted less than 10 minutes. In part two, we learn how he plotted and planned for months, how he took advantage of the mental health system, and how he faked mental illness.
